Contrary to what is shown on TV and in social media these days, we like to showcase our children, members' families, and friends to highlight academic, athletic, career, and community achievements demonstrating that we are excelling, making a difference and working for a positive, productive future.  Each Sunday, we set aside time to applaud these achievements.

    • Accepted by Middle Tennessee State University and will attend this fall.  Kamryn wants to be a pilot.

    • 10U all-star team is going to the Cal Ripken world series.​

Derek Talbert, Jr.

  • Assistant Superintendent of Scott County schools wrote a letter complimenting the way he taught his class during his observation.  The class was recorded and will be used as a model.

Dakari Talbert

  • Athletics​

    • Fox News reported he has a career high 2,139 rushing yards

    • Candidate for Mr. Football for KY.

    • November 21st game he had 33 carries for 219 yards and 4 touchdowns

Derion Talbert

  • Academic/Athletics​

    • Received a scholarship from Ball State University to play football.

Everett Talbert, Sr.

  • Inducted into the Lexington African American Sports Hall of Fame for high performance in high school and college football.
