Echoes of Our Ancestors hosted a Juneteenth Gospel Explosion in Georgetown, KY. First Baptist Maddoxtown's choir was invited to be part of the celebration.

Sis. Nora Williams - Centenarian
April 13, 2025
On this day we salute a lady who inspires us with her kindness, integrity, faith and strength. One statement of her faith after she suffered losses of her own children in a short period of time: "I don't understand, but I trust God!"​​

Sis. Williams continues to walk through the doors of the church each and every Sunday she is able.
Today, to show our love and appreciation for her, we showered her with gifts and her family paid a special tribute.

Breast Cancer Awareness
October 27, 2024
First Baptist Maddoxtown paid tribute to the faith, resilience and strength of breast cancer survivors. Each attributed their survival first and foremost to God, then the care from the medical community and the love and support of family and friends. To God Be The Glory!!

​Early detection makes a difference. Women are encouraged to have regular check-ups.
